Gene Owens
PURYEAR, Tenn.--Services for Gene Owens, 72, of Puryear will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home of Murray. Burial will follow in Pinegar Cemetery in Dukedom.
He died at 11:30 a.m. Friday at his home.
He was a member of Knob Creek Church of Christ and of the Masonic Lodge in Palmersville.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Owens; a daughter, Connie Barnes Maynord of Mayfield, Ky.; a son, Billy Owens of Dukedom; three stepsons, Jay Collins of Mont Belvieu, Texas, Rickey Collins of Aineola, Texas, and Jeff Collins of Woodlands, Texas; a sister, Modena Bennett of Mayfield; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. His parents were William Robert and Allie Maud Vincent Owens.
