He and Telva Lee Shaw were married 13 June 1931 at Waurika, Oklahoma.
He was a member of the First Baptist church and Masonic Lodge #790 A.F.&A.M. in Olney for 59 years.
He moved to Olney in 1950 and worked in the oil field until 1966. When he moved to Fort Worth and worked for the American Manufacturing Company until 1986 when he returned to Olney.
Survived by his wife; one son - Darrell Tiffany of Greenville; one daughter - Dava Lou Alexander of Bridgeport; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
