Alexander C. Cunard, 63, of West Manchester Township, died at 7:07 p.m. Tuesday at York Hospital. He was the husband of Judith Ann (Metzel) Cunard.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Baumeister, Orcutt and Small Mortuaries Inc., South Queen and East Jackson streets. York. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Viewing will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the mortuary.
Mr. Cunard was born Dec. 7, 1929, in Berak, Malaysia. He was the son of the late Samuel A. and Lourdes-Mary Cunard.
He was a retired certified professional agronomist. Since retirement, he had been employed part time by Bi-Comp Inc. He was a member of Derry Street Gospel Chapel of Harrisburg.
The recipient of an undergraduate degree in agriculture from Kings College in New Castle on Tyne, England, he recieved his doctorate in agronomy from the University of Toulouse in France.
Mr. Cunard also is survived by a son, Nathan J. Cunard, at home; a daughter, Rebecca C. Cunard, at home; and a brother, Samuel T. Cunard of Malaysia.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Gilbert W. Sier of the Derry Street Gospel Church. 11-09-93
