Mrs. Fred Beight
Virginia B. Beight, 72, of Zelienople, died Monday afternoon at North Hills Passavant Hospital after a long illness.
Born Sept. 23, 1919, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Edgar and Ruth Tucker Reffner.
Mrs. Beight was a member of the First Baptist Church, Evans City.
Surviving are her husband, Fred Beight, whom she married Aug. 29, 1953; three sons, the Rev. Michael Beight of Cleveland, Ohio, Scott Beight of Bailey, Mich., and David Beight of Jackson Township; three brothers, Jack Palmer of Zelienople, Shelley Palmer of Enon Valley, Beaver County and Thomas Palmer of Lancaster Township; six sisters, Marie Glover of Detroit, Lois hart of Beaver County, Elizabeth Krchmar of Dormont, Juanita Eppinger of Zelienople and Louise White and Judy Barnhart, both of Lancaster Townsihp; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Shelley A. Palmer, Sr., a brother, and a sister.
BEIGHT -- Friends of Virginia B. Beight of Zelienople, who died Monday, Dec. 30, 1991, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Ziegler Funeral Homek, South Clay Street, Zelienople. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from the First Baptist Church, Evans City, with the Rev. Tim Amundson, pastor, and the Rev. Michael Beight, the deceased's son, officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Franklin Township. Arrangements by Ziegler.
