Albert W. Lichtenwalter Sr., 74, formerly of 200 N. 4th St., Lehighton, died Thursday in the home of a daughter Alberta, wife of John Banko of 1407 Hazard Road, Palmerton.
He was the husband of the late Eva (Weind) Lichtenwalter and the late Mary (McHugh) Lichtenwalter.
He was employed in the door plant division of Bethlehem Steel Corp. before retiring in 1974.
Born in Bath, he was a son of the late Jeremiah and Lillian (Barthold) Lichtenwalter.
Surviving with his daughter are two other daughters, Delores, wife of George P. Kasick of Palmerton, and Mrs. Kathryn Solt of Palmerton R.1; a son Thomas of Coopersburg; a brother Arthur of Williamsport, Lycoming County; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Shatos of Easton and Mrs. Florence Hipple of Media, Delaware County; a step-sister, Mrs. Harriet Manettti of Scranton; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, and Katherine Houseman, with whom he formerly resided.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home, 4th and Iron streets, Lehighton. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
