William Russell of Langola, was struck by lightning and killed during the thunderstorm last Friday afternoon. He was riding on a load of wheat which he was taking to Rice's station, and the team of horses which were attached to the wagon and a colt, some distance away, were also killed. Deceased was a prominent member of the community, and his many friends greatly regret the accident. He leaves a wife and two children.
