The funeral of Henry Maurer, age 38, of Woodland was held Friday, October 29th, at 1 p.m. at the Center Hill Church, Rev. Rupp of Woodland and Rev. Hoover of Wallaceton officiating. Interment was at Center Hill.
Henry Maurer was a native of Philipsburg and lived there for many years. He had been a resident of Woodland for about seven years. He was a member of the Philipsburg U. C. T. and of the Grange. Deceased is survived by his loving and sorrowing widow, Esther (Rothrock) Maurer, and the following brothers and sisters. Kreb of Philipsburg, William of Philipsburg; Max of Trafford City and George of Woodland; Mrs. Louise Gross of Philipsburg, Mrs. Rose Duvall of Detroit, Mrs. Elizabeth Figart of Altoona, and Mrs. Anna Warner of Altoona.
