CHICOPEE - Lawrence C. Favreau, 72, of the Fairview section, died Friday morning at home. Born in Tewksbury, MA, he lived in Holyoke, South Hadley, and Randolph, VT, returning to Chicopee last year. He was the owner/operator of the former La Justice Lounge on South Bridge St. in Holyoke for 14 years, retiring in 1991. Previously he was a truck driver for the Tremblay Barrel Co. in Willimansett for 18 years. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in South Hadley Falls, a member of the Chicopee Moose Lodge #1849, and was a Seaman 2nd Class in the Navy during WWII, receiving the WWII Victory Medal. His wife, the former Marie J. Bonneau, died March 6, 2000. He leaves a daughter, Dodi J. Favreau of the Fairview section; two brothers, Richard of Chicopee and Walter of Edgewater, FL; a sister, Bertha Favreau of Chicopee Center; and several nieces & nephews, including his godson, Raymond L. Guillemette Jr. of Chicopee. Another brother, William of North Carolina, died recently. Funeral Monday morning from the Arthur J. Brunelle Funeral Home, Willimansett section of Chicopee, with a mass in St. Patrick's Church, South Hadley Falls. Burial in St. Rose Cemetery, Aldenville.
