Annie Clyde Hawkins was (1st) wife of Amos Redmond Winstead (1896-1968), son of Redmond Culbreth "Cullie" Winstead and Fannie Sarah Jackson. Annie and Amos were parents of 4 known surviving children before her death in 1928 at age 30.

In the 1940's Amos Redmond Winstead removed to Dade County, FL where he married and divorced. He reportedly died in Miami in 1968.
