Charles Edgar Hawn, 79, of Farmington, died June 23, 1988 at Farmington Regional Medical Center.

He was born August 11, 1908 in Chestnut Ridge, Ste. Genevieve County, son of the late Ressie Hawn and Ida Mae Clay Hawn.

An ARMY Veteran of WW II, he was a member of the American Legion Post in Ste. Genevieve and the First Presbyterian Church of Ste. Genevieve.

He was a retired construction foreman for the Mississippie Line Company.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Julius Hawn, Harry Hawn and Lester Hawn; one sister, Mildred Hawn Cupples.

Survivors include his wife, of Farmington; one daughter, of Farmington; two step-sons, both of Farmington; six brothers, one sister, of Farmington; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit after 6:00 p.m. today at Cozean Funeral Home in Farmington where American Legion services will be at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel.

Burial will be in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.
