Wayne graduated from Saugerties High School with Annette in 1964. He attended Hudson Valley Community College for two years and was subsequently employed by Honeywell Corp.in Albany, NY before enlisting in the US Army.
He had one brother, Roger, who served in Korea and a sister, Myra (Mrs. John Janaczek) of Saugerties, NY. His wife Annette returned to live in Glasco and Kingston, NY after relocating from South Carolina where Wayne was originally assigned prior to deployment.
