                                           Mrs. Mary Holt

     Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Margaret Holt, 84, of
Harper Heights, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday
in the Melton Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Ralph
Poole in charge. Burial will be in the Calfee Cemetery
at Mount Tabor.
     Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m.
Wednesday.
     She died suddenly at 1:15 p.m. Monday in Dallas,
Tex., where she had been making her home for the
past year.
     Born Jan. 16, 1884, she was daughter of the late
John and Jane Cantley Rorrer.
     She had been a resident of Raleigh and Kanawha
counties her entire life and was a member of the
Methodist Church.
     Her husband Richard D. Holt, preceded her in
death in 1950.
     Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Estelle
Winkler, Charleston, Mrs. Opha Dawson, St. Albans
and Mrs. Virginia Worley, Glen Daniel; and five sons,
Carl, Winfield, Loren, Phoenix, Ariz., Eugene, Dallas,
Tex., Bill, Opaloca, Fla., and Charles, Virginia Beach,
Va.; 34 grand-children and several great-grandchild-
ren.
