TOMLINSON
Mrs. Ellen Tomlinson, widow of Capt. J. A. Tomlinson, who was postmaster here under President McKinley, and who was also well known in the revenue service in this section, died Saturday about noon in the sixty-ninth year of her age. She was a member of the Methodist church and a woman who was most charitable. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church at 4 o'clock, conducted by Rev. F. T. McIntire, assisted by Rev. McLeod; interment in Spring Hill cemetery. A few moments after Mrs. Tomlinson passed away a telegram was received announcing the death of Mrs. Amanda Belknap, a sister of Capt. Tomlinson. Mrs. Belknap was the widow of Col. Belknap, who was Secretary of War under President Grant.
