Robert L. "Larry" Dick of Grand Ledge, Mi. Age 83, passed away August 28, 2006 in Lansing. He was born Sept. 1 1922 in Grand Ledge to Royal and Martha Dick. He attended Grand Ledge Public Schools, served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and on the Grand Ledge Area Fire Dept. From 1947 to 1966. He owned and operated a heating business in Grand Ledge, and worked for McConnell Sheet Metal, and Dard, Inc. Where he was member of Sheet Metal Workers local #360 and retired from from after 25 years of service. Larry was an avid sportsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bowling. He loved his grand and great-grand kids, and made many friends in his long life.
He is survived by his wife, life long friend and love of his life of 60 years, 3 sons and 3 daughters-in-law all of Grand Ledge, 11 grand kids, and 9 great-grand kids.
He is preceded in death by brothers, Wayne, Austin, and Cletus Dick, sisters, Irene and Lydia, and son Randy Dick.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 31, 2006 11 a.m. at Holihan-Atkin Funeral Home Grand Ledge. Visitation Wed. 2-4, 6-8 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Personal Home Care, 320 W. Lawrence Ave., Charlotte, MI 48813
