Austin, Joseph Marion son of Elder Maynard and Leafy J. (Miller) Austin, was born near Rossville, Indiana on November 20, 1932. He passed away at the Valencia Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lakeland, FLorida May 26, 2020 at the age of 87.
United in marriage to Jo Anne Renicker August 23, 1953. They made their home near Laketon, IN before moving to Bradenton, Fl in 1968. To this union was born Micheal (Mike) and Vicky (Susie). Mother passed May 26, 1977.
He married Beverly Best March 14, 1980 living first in Bradenton, FL then moving to Lakeland, FL.
Dad was baptized into the Old German Baptist Brethren Church September 5, 1993 at the Pine Grove Church. In 2009 he identified with the New Conference
Dad loved his family, friends, and pets. He enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.
He is survived by son Mike Austin and his wife Lois and his daughter Susie Hatt and her husband Tom.
Dad was preceded in death by his parents, wives Jo Anne (1977) and Beverly (2013) brothers Paul Austin and wife Glenna, and John Austin and wife Anna.
Family funeral services were held May 29 and he was buried beside Mother at Skyway Memorial Gardens, Palmetto, FL.
Daddy will be greatly missed by family and friends.
