On Sept. 3, 1960, he married the former Cecelia A. Rivera. The couple recently celebrated 51 years together. He was employed at Piggly Wiggly in Coleman until he moved to Rennes Health Center in Peshtigo. He was an avid 3:00 p.m. card player.
Richard is survived by his wife Cecelia, a daughter Cynthia Hoida of Coleman, a son Rick (Peggy Ausloos) Berth of Peshtigo, 3 grandchildren, 2 step-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Burial in the St. John's Cemetery.
