Mrs. Sarah Morgan Passes At Age 89
Final rites were held at the Morrison Funeral Chapel last Friday afternoon at 2:oclock for Mrs. Sarah E. Morgan who passed away Wednesdays of last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Martha Oliver, 1360 Spring Street. She had been ill for a long time.
Rev. Delmer A. Walker, pastor of the Baptist church, officiatd and interment was in St. Helena Public Cemetery.
A native of Tennessee, Mrs Morgan was 89 years old. She had been a resident of California for 25 year, and for the past six years had made her home in St. Helena. Her late husband James A. Morgan passed away in 1926. She was a member of the St. Helena Baptist Church.
Deceased was the mother of Edgar, Homer, Owen Titus, Blanche, Martha Morgan Oliver, Luther Paten, Bernice Morgan Oliver, Flora and Maggie
