He was born in Pettis County, Mo., on Dec. 17, 1894, the son of John M and Mattie Toombs Davis.
Survivors include his wife Marie, one daughter, Marie Kilgore of Macon, one brother, Fred Davis of Harding, Ks., one grandson, Larry Kilgore of Macon and four great grandchildren.
He was a farmer for several years. He operated a portable grinding machine, serving area farmers for more than 27 years.
He was a member of the Church of Christ in Macon.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Carney Funeral Chapel in Macon. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
