Mrs. Catherine Ferguson, wife of James Ferguson and formerly of Warren, died at 11:45 pm Wednesday following an extended illness. Born in Ireland on June 24, 1857, she had been a resident of the area for the past 60 years. She was a member of St. Joseph's parish.
Surviving, besides her husband, are three daughters, Mrs. William Schiffner, Little Valley, N.Y.; Mrs. Ella M. Wise and Mrs. E. C. Buckley, Chicago, IL; also 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Another daughter, Mrs. C. E. Allen preceded her in death.
Removal has been made to the Leo D. Gibson Funeral Home, where friends will be received at the usual hours, starting Friday afternoon, and the parish rosary will be recited at 8:45pm Friday. Services in her memory will be held at 9:00 am Saturday at St. Joseph's with internment following in St. Joseph's cemetery.
