Mrs. Anderson was born at Colt's Neck and was 75 years old. She was a Haggerty and was related to the family of that name which lived at Red Bank several years ago. She married Thomas P. Anderson fifty years ago. For forty years past the family had lived at Eatontown. Mrs. Anderson joined the Eatontown Methodist church when she moved to that village and had held her membership in the church ever since.
She leaves besides her husband three daughters and two sons--Mrs. Gilbert Crawford, Mrs. James Lake, Mrs. Charles Mitchell and Joseph Anderson of Eatontown and William Anderson of Newark. She leaves also fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral was held this afternoon at the house on Corlies avenue, Eatontown. Rev. Henry Johnson, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated. The body was buried at West Long Branch.
