Funeral services for Charlie Plez Arledge, 88, will be held today at 120 a.m. from the Good Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Wilkerson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of McClain-Hayes Funeral Home.

Arledge, a lifelong resident of Neshoba County, died Monday at the Starkville Nursing Home. he was a retired farmer and a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Artie Kalaizi of Houston, Tex.; two sons, Irby and Elzie Arledge, both of Philadelphia; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one half brother, Clevie Arledge of Neshoba.

Pallbearers will be Herman Clark, Billy Clark, L.B. Barrett, Percy Barrett, Ethan Clark, Leon Myers and Larry Myers.
