JOHN H. "Lefty" TIDWELL passed away from a courageous battle with cancer on May 22, 2000. He was born in Electra, Texas on July 1, 1919. He was a dedicated husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Juanita, brother, Douglas and wife Marie, brother in law Louis Daves, son Jimmy and wife Roxie, daughters, Judy Sinclair and Janet Calhoun. Grandchildren, Lisa and Michael Lau, Neal and Sylvia Sinclair, Ann and Michael Nordhues, Kristin Sinclair, Gina Greenwood, Scott and Stephanie Tidwell, Amy and Tim Roden, Penny and Michael Stringer, Melanie and Trini Garcia, Kristi, Michael and Amber Calhoun. He is also blessed and survived by 19 great grandchildren. His wonderful smile and great golf tips will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Melissa Sinclair, great granddaughter Leah Roden and daughter in law Linda Tidwell. Services are scheduled for Wednesday May 24, 2000 at 3pm with Brother Terry Spears officiating at Klein Funeral Chapel Champion Forest, with viewing prior to the service from 1-3pm. Burial will follow at Klein Memorial Park FM2920.
