She was born on July 24, 1927 in North Carrollton, Mississippi, the daughter of Carl and Inez (Pentecost) Abel.
She later moved to Kansas City in the late forties to attend school with the intention to become an airline stewardess. While that did not work out, she met her future husband, Leonard D. Troll, and they married on November 21, 1951 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Louisburg, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of over 60 years, Leonard D. Troll, of the home; four sons, Ricky Troll and wife Maureen, Overland Park, KS; Timothy Troll and wife Theresa, Olathe, KS; Tracy Troll and wife Lori, Overland Park, KS and Theodore Troll, Olathe, KS; 5 grandchildren; Eric, Karl, Sara, Courtney and Emilee and one great grandchild, Aiden.
