Rites Wednesday for Reuben Stow
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at four o'clock for Reuben Lee "Dock" Stow at the New Hope Baptist Church near Latham. Services were conducted by Rev. Cayce Pentecost. Burial was in the church cemetery with W.W. Jones & Sons in charge.
Dock Stow was born near Latham on February 17, 1909. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. He was the son of Bolivar "Bee" Stow and Lee Ann Moore.
Surviving are his wife; Gladys Owens Stow, two daughters; Anna Stow of Palmersville, and Mrs. Everett Clark of Chicago, two sisters; Ethel Stow Pentecost of Palmersville, and Aeiful Stow McClain of Dukedom, one brother; Charles Monroe Stow of Phoenix, Arizona, one half-sister; Mabel Stow Nichols of Detroit, Michigan, and step mother; Myrtle Parrish Stow of Detroit, Michigan.
