ELLIOTT BAIER ALBIN

Funeral services for Elliott Baier Albin will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 13 at the Ertel Memorial chapel with Darrell Veach officiating. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery.

Elliott was born on May 4,1948 in Cortez, the son of Orin A Albin Jr. and Ollie (Elliott) Albin, both former Cortez residents. He departed this life on Saturday, January 6,2007 in Orlando, Florida at the age of 58.

Elliott went to school in Cortez until he reached high school age. At that time his family moved to Montrose and then later onto Colorado Springs, Co. He graduated from Colorado Springs High School. He then went on to attend college at Pikes Peak College and Fort Lewis College. Elliott joined the Air Force in 1969 and moved to Texas. he was sent to Thailand during his service time. Elliott returned to the United States in 1972. He spent his working life as a cross country truck driver.

Surviving Elliott are his parents, Orin and Ollie Albin; his daughter Kim Claycomb; his grandsons, Lucas and Travis Claycomb. He was the youngest brother of Dixie Veach. Elliott was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Dean Holman.
