Lucy married Curtiss Tomlinson in Bethlehem on September 15, 1790. Curtiss and Lucy had seven children, all born in Huntington: Stephen, John Atwood, Mary A., Lucy, Charles Curtiss, Thomas Jefferson, and Caroline Elizabeth Tomlinson. All children but son Thomas lived through adulthood and married. Thomas is buried next to his parents.
After Curtiss' death, Lucy was allowed pension on her application executed September 1, 1838. At that time she was still a resident of Huntington. By 1840, she was living in Derby, New Haven, CT. and in the 1850 census was listed in the household of her son-in-law Martin Bassett with daughter Caroline and six grandchildren.
