CUNNNINGHAM – Darla Ann, aged 86, of Boca Raton, Fla. Died May 4, 2022 at TrustBridge Hospice, Boca Raton, Fla. Born January 18, 1936 in Meadville, Pa. to the late Glenn Franklin Wood and the late Alice Hamman Wood.
She came to Boca Raton with her husband, from State College, Pa. In 2019.
Mrs. Cunningham was the beloved wife of William Paul Cunningham who survives, whom she married February 25, 1981, having attended grade school and high school with him; loving Mother of Deborah Jane Ward, Kathleen Jane Zych (Dr. Gregory) and Mark Nagel (Elizabeth) sister of Saundra Lynn Hunter (Richard) and the late Ellen Jean Zawacki; step sister to Glenna Ann Campagnaro (Steven), Priscella Ruth Paige,Mary Jean Catellier (Ian); step Mother of three, Grand Mother of 12; Great Grand Mother of 1, and friend to many.
Darla was a talented seamstress, quilter, knitter and painter; who loved to travel to Aruba twice and Cheyenne, Wyoming and Washington state to visit her sisters.
She enjoyed Bluegrass music, reading, word puzzles and flowers.
She was a member of the Rocky River United Methodist Church in Rocky River, Ohio.
After cremation, internment will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Meadville, Pa.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
