CEDAR CREEK -- Wesley J. Armstrong, 73, of Route 4, Hastings, died at Pennock Hospital, Hastings, Sunday evening shortly after admittance. He was born in Iowa. Mr. Atrmstrong was a retired coremaker in the foundry industry. He married Mildred M. Staude on March 8, 1929, in Chicago, Ill. The couple lived in the Cedar Creek area since 1946, and before that time lived south of Battle Creek. Mr. Armstrong was employed by the Duplex Printing Press Co. in Battle Creek from 1940 until it closed, and then he was employed by the Kalamazoo Tank and Silo Co. until 1960, when he retired. He was a member of the International Molders and Foundry Works Local. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Norman of Route 4, Hastings, and Philip of Route 5, Hastings; four grandchildren; two brothers, Dwight of Marshall, and Herbert of Chicago; three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Nell) Cowan and Mrs. Clair (Violet) Bordeau, both of Marshall, and Mrs. Ray (Pearl) Bishop of Florida.

State Funerals
ARMSTRONG, WESLEY J. Friends are being received at the Henton-Smith Funeral Home, Delton, where funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Paul Deal officiating. Interment Houston Cemetery, Ceresco, Michigan.
