Mrs. Delia Judd died at her home near Pierce Sun, 10 May at the age of 60. The dau of W.A. and Elizabeth Houk Thompson, she was born 12 Aug 1892. She was united in marriage to R.P. Judd 28 Apr 1915. To this union 4 children were born. She was a member of the Macedonia Church. She is survived by her husband; 3 children, Mrs. Avis Davis, Pierce; Orville Judd who is with the Armed Forces in Wayne, Michigan; and Rollin Judd, Pierce; 4 brothers, Aried, Ivan, Roberts, and Marvin Thompson, all of Pierce; 4 sisters, Mrs. Amanda Crenshaw, Pierce, Miss Myrtie Thompson, Greensburg, and Mrs. Mildred Curry, Pierce, and Mrs. Flossie Lile, Liletown; and 4 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tues at 2:00 pm at Macedonia Church conducted by Rev. Manley Towles and Rev. Gene Puckett. Little Barren quartet furnished the singing. Burial was in the Macedonia cem. Pallbearers were her nephews, and the flower girls were her nieces.
