AUBURN - Norma (Clement) Fuller, 89, of West Cumberland, died March 28 at Clover Manor after a long illness.

She was born Aug. 11, 1918, at West Cumberland, daughter of Blanche and Philip Clement of Brighton, Mass. Her family relocated to Portland, where she attended school, graduating from Deering High School in 1936. She attended Northeastern School of Business in 1937. Through her working career, she worked for the Maine Publicity Bureau, Cumberland Sand & Gravel, The Rug Factory and retired from Mcdonald Paige Accounting.

She belonged to Cumberland County Extension. She was also a member of the 1918 Club. She enjoyed her natural surroundings and was always willing to take walks in the woods with her children to discover what was growing anew.

She is survived by two sons, Joel and his wife, Marcia, of North Yarmouth and Mark and his wife, Sharon, of Auburn; she took great delight in her five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren, most likely to have some small trinket to amuse them with.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Clover Manor for the excellent and compassionate care they have provided for our mother for the past three years.
