Richard Henry Metscher, 57, Joplin, MO, died at 9:22 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, at St. John's Medical Center in Joplin after an illness.
Mr. Metscher was born Oct. 3, 1942, in Joplin. He was a 1961 (this is an error, should be 1960) graduate of Seneca High School. He was an owner/operator truck driver. He was a member of the Masonic Blue Lodge No. 335, in Joplin and a member of Shriners and Scottish Rites in Springfield.
He is survived by his wife, Jamison, of the home; one son, Buddy Reynolds, Webb City; two daughters, Melinda Metscher, Wentworth, MO, and Wendy Sublett, Shepherdsville, KY; and 12 grandchildren.
Graveside services were at 2:00p.m. Saturday at the Seneca Cemetery. Rev. John Meyers officiated. Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, had charge of arrangements.
