He proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Navy and after the war he worked for 40 years for Cal Trans.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Lois who passed away in 2000.
He is survived by his wife Carol, and his children Dale and Susan. Also surviving him are his step children Seriphim Leon of Aurora, CO, Yvonne Martin of Surprise, AZ, Michelle Keefe of Manchester, TN and Christina Georgi of Las Vegas, NV along with 12 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 5-7pm with a funeral services on Thursday October 4, 2012 at 12 noon, both at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA. A graveside service will follow at 2 pm at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA Staging Area 5.
