John Earl "Ronny" Webb, 79, died Friday afternoon. He was born in Beaumont, TX, to John and Esther Webb. Ronny has lived in Hemphill for thirty years coming from Beaumont. Ronny was a professional bull rider and rodeo clown and the Farm Bureau Insurance Agent in Hemphill for years. Ronny was inducted into the Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame in 1999, a member of the Rodeo Cowboy Alumni and Rodeo Clown's Association.

Mr. Webb is survived by his wife Cecile Ann Webb of Hemphill, his step-son Duane Jennings of Vidor, his step-daughters Kimberley Brinkley of Beaumont and Karen Fontenot of Silsbee, his sister Bonnie Vaillo of Winnie and Sister-in-law Judy Webb of Winnie and a number of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Dale and Tommy Webb and a sister Frances Ruth.

Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 9:00PM, Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00AM, Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at 3:00PM in the Fairview Cemetery in Winnie, Texas.
