Mary Holomany Begany was born January 15th 1879. She was the daughter of Stephen and Julia Holomany. She came to the US at the age 16 in 1895. In 1897 she married Michael P Begany in Yonkers New York. They had 5 sons together; Stephen, Julius, William, Edward, and Robert Begany, and a daughter Helen Begany. Mary worked at Otis Elevator. She was a member of the Supreme Forest Woodmen's Circle. She died August 3rd 1950 just a few weeks before her husband. They are buried in Oakland Cemetry in Yonkers, NY.
