Funeral services for Jimmy Jarrett Fleetwood, 79, of Checotah, OK, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel in Muskogee with Bill Crow officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah.
Jimmy was born April 2, 1933 at Bixby, OK, the son of Jarrett and Ida (Box) Fleetwood and died Friday, September 28, 2012 at his home. Prior to retirement, Jimmy was the owner and operator of J. B. F. Trucking.
Survivors include his children, Jarrett Fleetwood and wife, Brenda, of Okay, Lorna Igert and husband, Mickey, of Fort Gibson, Jamie Fleetwood and wife, Sherry, of Muskogee, Jimmy Fleetwood and wife, Denise, of Okay, Leroy Fleetwood and wife, Shelly, of Okay, and Terri Mosley of Bixby; one sister, Mable Moore and husband, Ross, of Bixby; 26 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
