ERNEST REKO DEAD
Ernest Reko passed away at the home in the east part of town early Sunday morning. The deceased was among our best and kindliest citizens and one highly respected by all who knew him. He was born in Posen, Germany, December 3d, 1844 and with his parents came to America in 1856. Settling at Marquette, Wisconsin. In 1865 they came to Minnesota, and five years later found him on a homestead in Emerald Township, this county. In 1871 he was united in marriage with Louise Fisher. They continued to live on the farm until 1894, when they removed to Blue Earth. He is survived by the wife and eleven children, S. F. Reko, of Charles City, Iowa, W. A. Reko of this city, Mrs. H. D. Henke of Nisswa, this state, E. H. Reko of Lake City, H. A. Reko of Kenyon, A. G. Reko of Blue Earth, F. J. Reko of Shelby, Montana, Mrs. W. R. Henke of Blue Earth, Mrs. H. G. Koberstein of Kenyon, Mrs. S. W. Westal, of Winnebago, Mrs. H. O. Schueler of Waldorf.
