Death Takes SH Resident
Sweet Home - Mrs. Sybil Martin, 88, 610 S. 12th Ave., died Monday evening at a local hospital following a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 27, 1867, in Hancock, Mich. She had lived in Oregon for the past 66 years, and came to Sweet Home nine years ago from Knappa. Mrs. Martin was a member of the Assembly of God church.
Funeral services will be held at the Tracewell Funeral home at 2 pm. Wednesday with the Rev. A. H. Barton, pastor of the Assembly of God church officiating. Burial will be in Twin Oaks Memorial garden in Albany, with graveside rites by the Rev. James Thompson, minister of the Community church, Methodist, officiating.
Survivors are her widower, a son, Harold, Sweet Home; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
