He was a lifetime resident of Northwest Arkansas. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was employed with Brown's Drywall and West Tree Service for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one grandchild.
Harold is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Maria Dash Calico, of the home, whom he married in 1959; two brothers, "Bo" Charles Elmer of Springdale and "Tug" Earl William of Springdale; one sister, Pearly May Rogers, of Lincoln; five children, "Jeri" Geraldine Ann of Fayetteville, Harold Dean Jr. of Prairie Grove, Justin B. of Springdale, Shirley Ruth of California, and Cuba Melissa of Farmington; seven grandchildren, Michele, Timothy, Ashley, Cole Ross, Wanema, Justin Al, and Joshua; and four great-grandchildren, Tina, Jada, Shiloh, and Aaron.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date by the family.
