Donald L. Bolinger, age 78, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at his home.
Born July 3, 1930 to the late Lloyd and Alma Bolinger in Kingwood, W.Va.
Active member of Broadman Baptist Church and formerly with Westgate Baptist Church.
Retired from Simmons Mattress Co., John Hart Realty, Bolinger Real Estate and Purlatar Delivery Service.
Don loved to be busy at all times and enjoyed helping other people.
Preceded in death by his parents, brother Lloyd Bolinger Jr., and wife Ruby J. Estep Bolinger.
Survived by daughter, JoAnn (Richard) Ramey; son, Donald R. (Hazel Ward) Bolinger; grandchildren, Rick (Sherry) Ramey; Lora (Roy) Fish, Dawn Marie Bolinger, and Brandon Bolinger; great-grandchildren, Samantha Ramey and Hannah Fish; brothers, Clarence (Marilyn) Bolinger, John (Berline) Bolinger; sisters, Jean (Densil) Gibson and Sue Bishop; sister-in-law, Kitty Bolinger; several nieces and nephews; very special friend, Mary Buffington; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., where funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009.
