Mineral Springs Items: Died of consumption, Mrs. George "Ellen" Armstrong, age 27, & on Jan. 2nd her baby died. She leaves a husband & child.
Obituary: Died of consumption, Mrs. Ellen Armstrong, age 27 years, & on Saturday night, the Lord saw fit to call her darling babe home to heaven, where it can ever be with its mother.
She leaves a husband & 1 child behind plus a host of friends & relatives to mourn her loss. She was an affectionate companion, a loving mother & a kind neighbor, liked by all who knew her. She professed faith in Christ about four years ago & united with the Church of God, of which she had since lived a member.
The remains were laid to rest in Stubblefield Cemetery, Jan. 1, after services by Rev. John Thomas.
Oh, Jesus, lift me highest
I am going home to rest
With the angel host of heaven
And be forever blest.
