Jasper N Brother's mother was Lavina Unknown. Lavina married 1st Drewry Lawson, he died before July 1833 in Putnam Co, IN. Lavina Lawson married 2nd William Brothers Feb 1837, Putnam Co, IN. In 1850 William and Lavina Brothers are living in Moultrie Co, IL. Jasper is not listed in the household in 1850. The Absolom Brothers 33 in1860, is probably a son of William Brothers by a 1st marriage. Not sure who this William Brothers in 1860 is, unless he is the William Daniels listed age 14 in 1850 the household of William & Lavina in1850.
Added: I was incorrect on who Jasper Newton's mother was. We have since found court documents stating Lavina Lawson-Brothers died before Jan 1845. And Jasper's father married the widow
