Mrs. Cora Moran, daughter of the late Mr. Jimmy Judd and Mrs. Priscilla Judd Judd, was born August 4, 1887 in Green County and departed this life at 10:45 P.M. Thursday, January 13, 1977 at Glasgow Community Hospital. She was 89 years, five months and nine days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Russell Creek Baptist Church at the time of her death. She united in marriage to Mr. Lester Moran October 15, 1905 and he preceded her in death March 27, 1922. To this union were born three sons. Surviving are: Coleman E. Moran, Danville, Illinois; and Otha "Dude" Moran, Grab, Orthel Moran preceded his mother in death November 29, 1914. Mrs. Moran is also survived by one half-brother: Pete Judd, Greensburg; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends. The remains were at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted at 10 A.M. Saturday, January 15, 1977 with burial in the Judd Cemetery. Rev. M. J. Logsdon officiated. Pallbearers were: Cosby Gentry, Cutler Davis, Gearon Simpson, Buford Davis, Bobby Arnett, Doyle Bishop.
