Mrs. Jeanette Rusciano, 85, of Asbury Park died Friday, June 29, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Buckley Funeral Home, 509 Second Ave., Asbury Park. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in St. Gertrudes Cemetery, Colonia.

Born in Elizabeth, Jeanette lived in Linden before moving to Asbury Park in 1999. She was baptized and married in St. Adalberts R.C. Church in Elizabeth. During World War II, she worked in Finderne, making gyroscopes for torpedoes. She also worked at RCA in Woodbridge for many years. Jeanette was a member of the Asbury Towers Choir, and volunteered in the cafeteria there.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph P. Rusciano, who died in 1988. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Joseph A. Rusciano of New Jersey and Michael J. and Karen Rusciano of Sparta; a daughter and son-in-law, Madeline C. and Harvey Straus of Ocean Township; a brother, Henry Red Nadolski of Elizabeth; a sister, Wanda Piegdon of Van Nuys, Calif., and three grandchildren, Stephanie Straus, Sophia and Olivia Rusciano.

Flowers or donations to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, Memphis, Tenn. would be appreciated.
