Great Uncle Walter died in an automobile accident on October 27, 1978, in Marked Tree, AR, along with his wife, my Great Aunt Ruth Hall Adamson. Uncle Walter was trying to drive across Hwy 63, a two lanes, each direction, state highway, from a newly built cross road intersection, and he failed to yield for the oncoming traffic headed from the passenger side direction. He and Aunt Ruth were killed immediately.
