Final rites were held this afternoon at 4:00 0:clock, May 11th at the First Baptist Church for Mrs. M.D. Burch, the former Miss Belle Daniel, 82, of 111 Duncan Street, Dublin, who died Friday evening, May 10th at her home after being ill six weeks. The Rev. Charles H. Allen and Dr. C.D. Graves officiated and Adams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Northview Cemetery.
Pallbearers included Milo Smith, M.Z. Claxton, J. Felton Pierce, Roy Orr, Ancil Chavous and Melvin Brown.
Mrs. Burch was born and reared in Laurens County, the daughter of the late, W.B.F. Daniel and Mattie Robinson Daniel. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was married to the late Michael (Mike) D. Burch.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. J. Ernest Brown of Dublin; one grandson, Mike brown of Dublin. One sister, Mrs. R.M. Stanley and a brother, George C. Daniel, both of Dublin; several nieces and nephews and other relatlives.
