Mrs. McCreight with her husband owned and operated Stewart's Market from 1940 until 1976 when they retired. She spent most of her life in El Dorado except for nine years in Burns. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a member and past Worthy Matron of Andrina Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, the Social Order of Beauceants and Rebekah Circle of the church.
