William M. "Bill" Crouch, age 82 of Hoover, died December 18, 2003. He was a graduate of Shades Cahaba High School and was a veteran of WWII, where he served honorably in the US Navy. He is a member of Valley Christian Church where he is an elder emeritus. He had a passion for the game of golf, the sport, and fellowship it afforded him and he owned and operated Custom Golf and Repair in Homewood for a number of years. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anne Crouch; one son, Tony Crouch; 2 daughters, Mandy Adams and Marsha Hatfield, all of Birmingham; grandchildren, Tommie Lynn Crouch, Chip Adams and Tucker Stephenson to whom he was known as Pa-Pa.; brother, Jim Crouch; sister, Elizabeth Camilla Brown and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held Sunday, December 21, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Southern Heritage Chapel. Rev. James Clifford officiating. Visitation is Saturday, December 20, 2003 from 4 to 6 p.m. The family requests memorials be made to Valley Christian Church or your favorite charity. Ridout's Southern Heritage directing.
