The last sad rites for Mrs. Eliza
Jane Wierman were held in Waldo
Wednesday, Jan. 11,
at the home, and at 2 o'clock at the
M. E. church with Rev. Nelson J.
Alderson officiating.
At the request of Mrs. Wierman,
her five eons, Henry, Bert, Bernard,
Walter, Frank, and a grandson, Gerald,
carried the pall. Dr. C. B.
Richards sang "Home of the Soul"
and a quartet, Miss Eleanor Schneider,
Miss Flossie Minch, William H.
Petersen and Dr. C. B. Richards,
sang "Holy Spirit," "Faithful Guide"
and "Sweetly Resting."
There were many floral tributes
indicative of the high esteemv in
which Mrs. Wierman was held. Interment
was made in the Waldo
cemetery.
Mrs. Wierman was born Dec. 16,
1850, In Mahoning, Pa., the daughter
of Garret and Johanna Marguerite
Kemink. When a child of 13 years,
her parents moved to Lima. She
was united in marriage April 2,
1873, to Slewert Egbert Wierman,
and they resided in Ourtown until
