Maxie A. Potts, 81, Henderson, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at her home.

She was a member of Bellfield Baptist Church in Anthoston. She enjoyed quilting, bluegrass music and playing cards.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kernie and Dora Adams; her husband, Isaac Potts Sr., who passed away in 2004; two sisters; and one brother.

Survivors include one daughter, Sondra Buchanan of Kuttawa, Ky.; one son, Isaac Potts Jr. of Henderson; two sisters, Christine Martin and Mary Havener, both of Owensboro; four brothers, Johnny Adams of Henderson, Donald Adams and Palmer Adams, both of Owensboro, and Dickie Adams of Glasgow, Ky.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Tapp Funeral Home. The Rev. David Simpson will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice, 2410 S. Green St., Henderson, KY 42420.
