Claire G. Lewis, age 84, of Murray, KY, formerly of Crown Point, IN, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012.
She is survived by one son, Steven (Kathryn) Lewis of KY; three daughters: Diane Ward of IL, Lynnette (Lloyd) Kiser of Crown Point, and Adrienne (Tito) Ramos of FL; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Lynnelle (Toots) Agnew of FL.
Preceded in death by husband, Harry E. Lewis; sister, Marielle Agans; parents: William Lynn and Virgene Agnew.
Claire was a former member of First Presbyterian Church, Crown Point and was currently a member of First Presbyterian Church, Murray, KY. She was a graduate of Crown Point High School and received her Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University and her Master's Degree from Purdue University and taught Earth Science. Claire was retired from the Hammond School System. She was a member of Women's Court #9, Oriental Shrine, Eastern Star Chapter #408, and DAR, Clearwater Chapter.

Franciscan Drive, Crown Point (south of St. Rd. 231 on St. Rd. 55) on Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, September 21, 2012 DIRECTLY from First Presbyterian Church, 218 S. Court St., Crown Point with Rev. David Wood officiating. There will be one half-hour of visitation prior to service at the church. At rest Maplewood Memorial Cemetery, Crown Point.
